About Salmondo CZ

Salmondo builds an online career-guidance application for pupils. The free version gives basic results from personality (Big Five), interest (RIASEC) and values tests, identifies key talents, and lets pupils log their achievements. The full-access version adds recommendations of suitable professions and specific secondary, post-secondary and university fields, drawing on a database of Czech study programmes and the schools that offer them.

Customers are primary and secondary schools and their career counsellors. Schools buy full-access credits at 200 CZK including VAT per pupil; one credit gives one pupil full access and does not expire. The company also offers free downloadable teaching materials for counsellors and a free online course, Salmondo Akademie, for career counsellors, school psychologists and teachers.

Salmondo was founded in 2016 by three former secondary school classmates and is based in Brno. The website states that more than 700 primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic use the application, and that over 50,000 pupils have completed more than 90,000 questionnaires.

Product: Online career-guidance application with personality, interest and talent tests, plus a school-purchased full-access version with profession and study-field recommendations
