About Romo

The Romo Group designs and supplies interior textiles, including fabrics, wallcoverings, trimmings, rugs, cushions and accessories. Its six brands are Romo, Kirkby, Mark Alexander, Villa Nova, Zinc Textile and Black Edition, and each has its own in-house design studio. Original artwork is hand painted in the studio and then produced by weavers and printers.

Products are sold through a worldwide network of interior designers, retailers, distributors and agents, and collections are launched twice a year. The company states that its collections reach customers in over 70 countries. Pattern books and waterfalls are produced in-house at its Nottingham head office and used by retailers and designers.

The business was founded in 1902 by Robert Mould as a furniture manufacturing business in Nottingham and is now run by the founder's great-grandson, Jonathan Mould, with family members. The group is based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, with showrooms in London, Paris, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Munich, New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington DC and Toronto.
