About Rna Automation

RNA Automation designs and manufactures automated feeding and handling systems, including vibratory bowl feeders, linear, centrifugal, step and flexible feeders, and digital bowl feeders. Its custom automation offering centres on the modular FlexType™ platform, which combines feeding, handling, robotic modules and vision inspection for assembly, packaging and inspection tasks.

Customers are manufacturers in the pharmaceutical, plastics, industrial components and fasteners, automotive, packaging, electronics, medical device, cosmetics, food and consumer goods sectors. The company designs and builds custom automated systems tailored to each customer's requirements.

The company is headquartered in Birmingham, UK, and its factory is in the West Midlands. It operates nine manufacturing facilities across Europe and a network of sales and service outlets worldwide. RNA was founded in 1986 and remains in the hands of the Pavel family. In January 2025 it founded FSA Zuführtechnik GmbH to produce milled plastic bowls. It is currently recruiting a Bowl Tooling Engineer.
