About Rlync
Rlync is a search platform for research expertise. Users enter a topic, method, problem or question and receive a ranked list of researchers, with the papers that made each person relevant linked back to their source.
Its customers are universities, R&D teams, conference organisers, journalists, policy teams, funders and publishers looking for experts or collaborators. Researchers are also a target group, and a public search platform is described as coming soon. Organisations engage through pilots and demos.
Rlync was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in London. It describes itself as a social impact venture and has received support from Innovate UK, King's College London and the University of Bristol. Co-founders are Dr Gemma Archer, CEO, and Dr Benjamin Elsworth, technical advisor.
Product: Researcher discovery search platform that returns ranked researchers with linked supporting papers, with filters by institution, output type and collaborators.
