Risepoint is an education technology company that partners with universities to develop, launch and grow online degree programs. Its services include market research, integrated marketing, prospective student support, retention services, technology implementations, change management and performance monitoring. Universities keep control of curriculum, instruction, admissions, tuition, financial aid and degree conferral.
Its customers are more than 100 not-for-profit regional public and private universities and colleges, mainly in nursing, teaching, business and public service. Risepoint works under fee-for-persistence and fee-for-service models, depending on the partner.
Founded in 2007 as Academic Partnerships, the company is remote-first, with employees in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. It reports more than 1,500 employees, 100+ university partners and 25k+ courses launched. In August 2026 it acquired the North American operations of Keypath Education. Open roles include marketing, analytics, data science and student recruitment.
