Resysten

Resysten develops and markets antimicrobial and air-purifying surface coatings. The coatings are stated to remain durable on treated surfaces for at least one year, to inhibit bacterial and mould growth, and to break down microorganisms, including viruses. Together with PeakX, Resysten has also launched an AI calculator that estimates the return on investment of preventive hygiene measures.

Customers are organisations in the food industry, healthcare, transportation, and offices and community spaces, including a national dialysis centre network and a Hungarian parcel locker operator. Solutions are offered through business partners in 25 countries. The company also states that it is an official supplier to the British NHS.

Resysten was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Budapest. Its materials science research and development laboratory is located on the campus of the University of Szeged. In 2022 a $2 million investment from the Colombus private equity fund was used to accelerate international expansion.
