Reporters Online provides a platform where freelance journalists publish articles and earn through reader donations and sales via Cafeyn/Blendle. It also offers syndication, crowdfunding tools, plugins and hosted websites for journalists.

The platform serves freelance journalists and publicists, with about 800 Dutch journalists publishing on it. Participation is free; it retains a 10% fee on donations and articles sold through Cafeyn/Blendle. The company was founded in 2015 by journalist Jan-Jaap Heij and developer Gyurka Jansen.
