About Radioinspeksjonen
Radioinspeksjonen AS carries out radio inspections of ships, both Norwegian and foreign vessels. The company is approved by the Norwegian Maritime Authority (Sjøfartsdirektoratet) and relevant classification societies. It also publishes channel plans and emergency procedures as downloadable documents and lists the Norwegian regulations that apply to radio equipment on vessels.
The company is a new, independent business set up by inspectors who had long performed radio inspections for Telenor Kystradio. Customers are vessel owners and operators who book an inspection through a regional inspector covering areas from Troms and Finnmark to Vestlandet, as well as offshore and regulatory work. Inspections abroad are carried out when needed.
Radioinspeksjonen AS was founded on 29 April 2025 and is headquartered in Lyngseidet, Norway. The team draws on more than 100 years of combined experience from Telegrafverket, Teledirektoratet and Telenor Kystradio.
Product: Radio inspection of ships, including Norwegian and foreign vessels, in cooperation with classification societies.
