About QIMA

QIMA provides quality assurance services: inspection, testing, audit and certification of products, sites and processes. Its services are supported by a digital platform, myQIMA, where clients book services, get price quotes, track orders and review reports, results and corrective action plans.

Customers are businesses in consumer products, food and agrifood, cosmetics and personal care, and pharma and biotech. The company states that it supports more than 30,000 businesses in 100+ countries. Clients book and pay for individual services.

QIMA was founded in Hong Kong in 2005 under the name AsiaInspection and rebranded as QIMA in 2018. It states that it employs more than 6,000 people in 90 offices and labs. Growth has come partly through acquisitions of testing labs, certification bodies and CROs, including Hansecontrol in Germany in 2020. In 2025, TA Associates joined as a minority shareholder. Current job listings cover quality control inspectors, QHSE and social compliance auditors, audit coordinators, lab technicians and HRIS and IT roles in several European countries, including Czechia, Poland and Slovenia.
