About Pulpex

Pulpex is a packaging technology company that develops fibre (pulp) bottles and works with manufacturers under licence to convert end products at industrial scale. Its patented technology supports customisable single-mould bottle shapes, coloured pigments, embossing and labelling.

Customers are brand owners in FMCG and beverage categories who want to move from glass and plastic to fibre packaging; the company partners with manufacturers under licence. The website names DIAGEO, SMOL and PepsiCo among its leaders in driving change, and reports a dedicated production site in Glasgow.

The company is headquartered in Sawston, Cambridgeshire, UK, and was founded in 2019 (registered 2019-05-07). Its production site in Glasgow opened as a commercial fibre bottle factory, and it is recruiting for R&D and deployment roles at its Sawston base.

Product: Renewable pulp-fibre bottles with customisable shapes, pigments and decoration, produced under licence with manufacturing partners.
