About Promon

Promon builds the Runtime Intelligence Platform, which embeds protection such as RASP, anti-tamper and code obfuscation into compiled applications without source code changes or an SDK. Its Promon Shield products cover Android and iOS, Windows and macOS, SDKs and web applications, and the platform adds telemetry, AI-assisted risk scoring and automated response.

Customers are banks, fintechs, gaming companies, public institutions and other enterprises, with over 500 enterprise customers. The company sells protection and platform products to these organisations and offers a partner programme and integrations with SIEM, SOAR and data lake tools.

Promon was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Oslo, Norway. It has offices in more than 15 countries. In 2026 it completed the acquisition of Codesealer to extend protection to web applications and APIs.
