About Progressive Technology
Progressive Technology Group is a sub-contract engineering group with three divisions: Progressive Advanced Machining (CNC multi-axis machining, milling, turning and EDM), Progressive Additive Manufacturing (DMLS additive manufacturing of metals and alloys) and Progressive Advanced Materials (fully finished carbon components, patterns, tooling and structural foams).
Its customers include Formula One teams, aerospace, medical and defence organisations. The group is an approved AS9100 supplier and works on a contract basis from customer quotation through production, inspection and delivery.
The group traces its origins to 1977, when Progressive Jig & Tooling was founded in Overton, Hampshire. The company was renamed Progressive Technology Ltd in 2009, and it is registered in Newbury, UK, where it is headquartered. Its shifts run 24/7 for 365 days a year, and it is recruiting CNC machinists, CAM programmers, composite technicians and apprentices.
