Prelude

Prelude sells APIs for onboarding: multichannel OTP verification (SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, voice, email), pre-KYC risk scoring, authentication, phone number intelligence and transactional messaging. The site describes these as five products on one platform, with device, network and carrier signals combined into a single onboarding decision.

Its customers are app and digital service companies, and the site names BeReal, Sunday, Suno and Voodoo as customers. Revenue comes from per-verification pricing (listed at 0.032€ per verification on the monthly plan, plus message costs passed through at carrier rates) and custom committed-volume plans.

The company was founded in Paris, France, where its HQ is located in the 10th arrondissement. The careers page says it raised $27M in a Series A led by 20VC, with Singular, Seedcamp, Deel and FDJ United Ventures participating. It lists open roles in engineering, sales, business development and customer support, mostly in Paris, plus some remote roles.

Product: Verify, Watch, Auth, Intel and Notify: OTP and multichannel verification, pre-KYC risk scoring, authentication and number intelligence APIs.
