About prefa.de

PREFA Aluminiumprodukte GmbH develops, produces and sells roof, facade and solar systems made of aluminium, along with rainwater drainage and a partly mobile aluminium flood-protection system developed with its sister company Neuman Aluminium Strangpresswerk. The range covers roof panels and shingles, solar roof panels and PV modules, mounting systems and accessories.

Customers include building owners and renovators, architects and planners, and roofing craftsmen. The products are sold mainly through craftsmen, who are trained at the PREFA Academy. The company offers up to 40 years of colour and material warranty and 25 years of performance warranty.

The business traces its roots to a Salzburg craftsman's work in the 1940s. About ten years after its founding, the company was taken over by Walzwerk Fried. v. Neuman and moved its seat to Lower Austria. A production plant in Wasungen, Thuringia, opened in 1998. Products are manufactured at Marktl and St. Pölten in Austria and at Wasungen in Germany. The PREFA group employs around 800 people and is part of the group of industrialist Dr. Cornelius Grupp.

Product: Aluminium roof, facade, solar and rainwater drainage systems, plus a modular flood-protection system.
