About Precordior
Precordior Oy, which operates under the CardioSignal brand, develops digital cardiac biomarkers. Its CE-marked Class IIb medical device uses gyrocardiography, which measures heart motion with the gyroscope and accelerometer of a smartphone, to detect signs of atrial fibrillation.
Products include a consumer app with subscriptions, atrial fibrillation detection programmes for care providers and population health initiatives, point-of-care solutions for clinical practice, and a planned SDK that lets partners add CE-marked atrial fibrillation detection and heart rate measurement to their mobile apps. In 2025 LocalTapiola launched a nationwide case-finding programme with the company, offering its customers aged 50–75 free access to the app.
The company was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Turku, Finland, with an office in Palo Alto, California. It has a team of 30+ people and states that its technology is available in over 15 countries across Europe and beyond.
