PRAGMET

Pragmet a.s. is an independent steel service centre that processes steel coils and sheets. Its four production lines cover longitudinal slitting into narrower coils, sheet cutting, trapezoid cutting and radius cutting.

The company supplies Czech and foreign automotive manufacturers and stamping companies, and it states that it works with about 40 domestic and foreign business partners. It offers just-in-time deliveries to Czech automotive customers, citing its location about 20 km from Mladá Boleslav. It is part of the Ferona, a.s. group.

Pragmet was founded in 1999 and is registered in the Prague commercial register. Its site in the Benátky nad Jizerou industrial zone covers 20,000 m2 with three temperature-controlled production halls and a two-storey office building. The company is currently recruiting a shift operator for a slitting line on a multi-shift production schedule.
