About Polymateria

Polymateria develops tailored formulations that enable conventional plastic packaging to biodegrade if it escapes waste streams. Its Lyfecycle technology is incorporated as a bespoke masterbatch and is designed to preserve packaging function during its service life and support recycling beforehand.

Its solutions are used in packaging formats including bags, films, wrappers, bottles and containers. The company works with packaging and consumer-goods businesses on product-specific formulations.

Polymateria Limited was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in London. Its team includes polymer scientists and commercial and operations staff.

Product: Proprietary biodegradable plastic technology supplied as bespoke masterbatch formulations for conventional packaging.
