About Pixact
Pixact develops and supplies inline measurement technology based on optical imaging, used to diagnose industrial processes involving particle-gas-liquid suspensions. Applications include bubble size and foam analysis, particle size, shape and colour, crystal monitoring, and stock impurity detection in pulp suspensions.
Customers include innovative SMEs and blue chip companies in the industries it serves, including pulp and paper, food and feed, bioprocess, chemical and pharma, and mining. Revenue comes from measurement systems together with installation and commissioning, custom development, measurement services and equipment rental, and after-sales service packages.
Pixact was founded in 2006 as a university spin-off and has its offices and production in Tampere, Finland. The company reports over 200 measurement systems delivered and over 200 measurement campaigns completed, with operations in more than 20 countries. Distributors serve customers in Europe, the Americas and Asia, and the company has opened a joint venture in China.
