Pila Pasák

Pila Pasák a.s. processes softwood logs and sawn timber at its sawmill in Planá nad Lužnicí, Czech Republic. Its range covers battens, beams, boards, tongue-and-groove cladding (palubky), flooring, decking, fencing, mouldings, wood paints, disposable pallets and wood pellets, and it also buys pine and larch logs.

The company states that most of its goods are sold on the domestic Czech market. About 90% of the sawn timber is used in its own joinery and pallet production, and the rest is sold directly. Sales are made through its own shops and to trade customers, and the website lists a pellet order intake as currently suspended.

The website states that the sawmill has operated at the site since 1998, continuing the activity of Pasák spol. s r.o., founded in 1993, and that its annual log cut is 35,000 m3 of debarked logs. The company currently has three open production roles in Planá nad Lužnicí: operators for a pallet production line, a pellet production line and a log sorting line.
