PC PAL develops medical software for growth monitoring, pedigree charting and patient registries. Its main products are GrowthXP, a tool for tracking growth from infancy to adulthood, and PedigreeXP, a pedigree charting tool. Both are offered as standalone applications and as modules for integration into medical records, including via FHIR. The company also builds customized patient registry platforms for rare diseases and endocrinology.

Customers include pediatric practices, endocrinologists, clinical geneticists, hospitals and nutritionists, as well as pharmaceutical companies that order systems for physicians and nurses working with their medications. Revenue comes from sales of its software and components and from customized registry projects.

PC PAL was founded in 1996 and is registered in Bièvres, France, with offices in Paris and Stockholm. Its products are used in more than 40 countries, and the GrowthXP web module exists in 15 national versions. The company holds CE registration as an MDD Class I software-only medical device for its decision support products, with MDR class IIa planned. Its founder, Jani Söderhäll, is the sole owner.
