About parkwoodtheatres.co.uk
Parkwood Theatres runs five theatre venues in England: The Hawth in Crawley, The Playhouse Theatre in Weston-super-Mare, The Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone, Castle Theatre in Wellingborough and Beck Theatre in Hayes. Programmes include musicals, drama, comedy, pantomime, ballet, opera and family shows.
Audiences buy tickets for the shows. The venues also rent their auditoriums, meeting rooms and bars for conferences, corporate events, meetings and parties, and run on-site bars and restaurants. Some venues run participatory groups, such as the Hazlitt Institute of Performing Arts.
The Hawth has a capacity of up to 855 people, the Playhouse seats 664 and the Beck has a 600-seat auditorium. The Hazlitt opened in 1955 and was refurbished in 2014, and the Castle opened in 1995. The company is hiring freelance theatre technicians, a technical manager, front-of-house staff and box office assistants.
Product: Theatre venues presenting touring and in-house shows, plus venue hire for events, conferences and meetings.
