About PaRAS Aqua

Paras Aqua develops and supplies the Paras Precision Hybrid Flow-through System (HFS), a modular, biofilter-free aquaculture technology for fish farms. The system is designed for high water reuse of up to 96% and independent, decentralised tank operation.

The company works with aquaculture producers, offering planning, implementation, monitoring and optimisation support throughout the project lifecycle, along with long-term partnership and support beyond the technology. Its revenue model is project-based delivery of facilities and related services.

Paras Aqua Oy was founded in Finland in autumn 2023 (registered 2023-07-17) and is headquartered in Jyväskylä. The technology was developed at the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) from 2019 and officially launched in 2025. The website is published in English.
