About Päijän Boats

Päijän Boats Oy designs and sells classic Finnish rowing boats under the Päijän brand. Its range includes the 520LX, which is positioned between a rowing boat and a motorboat and is certified for a 10 hp outboard, the Aerot® telescopic oar, and a fibreglass trim tab retrofit kit for outboard use. The boats have a patented double-shell hull and are CE certified. Boat production is moving to AMT-Veneet Oy's factory in Kontiolahti, starting in September.

Customers are rowing boaters who buy through the company's online shop. The company is also recruiting international dealers to represent its boats and Aerot oars in their markets.

Päijän Boats was founded in 2021 and is headquartered in Lahti, Finland. It plans to launch the production Aerot oar at Metstrade 2026 in Amsterdam.
