About P. X. Farms
P.X. Farms Ltd is a family agribusiness that farms its own and partner land and offers crop storage with drying, cleaning and sorting, haulage, crop lab testing, building work and office and residential lettings.
Its farming work covers arable crops, and the company says it has decided to focus on growing crops, with environmental and regenerative agriculture work alongside. Revenue comes from its storage, haulage, contract farming and lettings services. Its customers include growers using its grain store and transport, and tenants of its semi-rural office space and residential lettings.
Founded in 2003 by James Peck, who took on the family farm under P.X. Farms Ltd, the company is based in Dry Drayton, near Cambridge, and works from the Estate Office at Scotland Farm. It farms about 12,500 acres across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, with rented, owned and contract-farmed land, and has a team of 51. It is currently recruiting a full-time, onsite social media content creator and videographer to produce video for its media operation across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X.
Product: Crop storage with drying, cleaning and sorting; farming for own and partner farms; haulage; crop lab testing; office and residential lettings.
