About Ottimo Pharma

Ottimo Pharma is a clinical-stage biotech company developing PD-1/VEGFR2 dual-paratopic antibodies for cancer. Its lead candidate, OTP-01, is a first-in-class, single-agent anti-PD-1/VEGFR2 antibody. In January 2026 the company announced FDA clearance of its Investigational New Drug application for OTP-01.

The Phase I/IIa adaptive study aims to assess and optimise the dose of OTP-01 and to provide safety, tolerability and early efficacy data, initially in patients known to benefit from PD-1 and/or VEGF treatment. The first patient has been dosed, and the study is open in oncology centres in the US and Australia.

The company was founded in 2017 and is registered in the United Kingdom, with Sandwich as its headquarters. David Epstein, former CEO of Seagen, serves as Chair and Chief Executive Officer. Roger Dansey, M.D., was appointed to the board of directors in April 2025.
