Ordotype publishes scientific content for general medicine in French. It covers over 380 clinical situations, each set out as a sheet with clinical reminders, prescription templates for tests and treatments, and patient advice sheets. The catalogue includes more than 2,200 prescription and assessment templates and over 600 patient advice sheets. Users can adapt the documents to their practice and share personalised versions with colleagues, students and staff. A mobile app is offered, and specialty modules cover palliative care, rheumatology and internal medicine.

Customers are mainly French doctors, with the site stating that more than 30,000 physicians use it. Access is sold by subscription, with free trial periods and payment by SEPA direct debit or card. Access is free for public services, private non-profit healthcare establishments (ESPIC) and hospitals that host interns. An annual membership with AIMGER, which includes Ordotype access, is also offered.

Ordotype was founded in 2021 by Dr Guillaume Rollin, Dr Louis Malachane and William de Broucker, an engineer. Content is written and reviewed by 50 authors and reviewers, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and pharmacists.
