About Orchard Care Group
Orchard Care Group provides integrated social care services for children, young people and adults in Ireland. Its three brands are Orchard Fostering, Orchard Residential Care and Orchard Community Care, covering fostering, residential and disability services.
Customers are the children, young people and adults the group supports, with services delivered in a range of care settings.
The group was formed in 2019 with the acquisition of Orchard Fostering and expanded in 2021 with the acquisition of Orchard Residential Care and Orchard Community Care. Orchard Residential Care was established in 2007 in the North West, and Orchard Community Care was founded in 2015 in the Sligo area. The group states that more than 400 social care professionals work in its services. Its open roles span social care workers, team leaders, nurses, persons in charge and quality assurance coordinators across locations including Cavan, Sligo, Galway, Carlow and Tralee.
