About Openstudio

OpenStudio develops OpenBridge, an HMI plugin for the Ignition industrial platform. It provides a library of more than 130 Perspective components, a framework for navigation and application structure, a dynamic pipe editor, and built-in WCAG accessibility support and dark mode. The plugin is built on the OpenBridge Design System, an open-source UI framework originally developed for maritime and industrial environments.

The product is aimed at people building HMIs for automation, machinery and industrial systems on Ignition. It is sold as perpetual licences priced per Ignition gateway (€2,000) or per Edge Panel device (€200), with optional annual maintenance at 16% of the activation fee that covers updates and email support. A free trial of all features is offered.

OpenStudio AS is registered in Drammen, Norway, and was founded in 2025.
