About Onyx Commodities
Onyx Capital Group makes markets in oil derivatives and runs Flux, a terminal for market access, live liquidity and energy data. Onyx Commodities provides liquidity for professional traders and institutions across crude, light ends, distillates, fuel oil, NGLs, metals and power and gas. The group also includes Axis, a market-making business based in Dubai and founded in 2024, and The Officials, a price reporting and intelligence agency.
Customers are professional traders and institutions, as well as individual traders who access the market through Flux. Services cover market access, execution and education. Revenue comes from trading liquidity, market data and services; the Brent Index is licensed to Jakarta Futures Exchange.
The group was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in London. It also has offices in New York, Singapore, Zug and Dubai. Open roles include senior software and platform engineering positions (Colombo, remote), a Rust software engineer and a graduate trader in London, and graduate quantitative analyst and IT support roles in Singapore.
