About One Big Circle
One Big Circle develops AIVR (Automated Intelligent Video Review), a browser-based platform that uses machine learning to highlight priority issues in railway engineering and monitoring from video footage. AIVR Thermal records infrared video along the conductor and running rail and flags high-temperature hotspots for maintenance planning. The company designs and builds its hardware and software in-house.
The platform is used across the UK rail industry. Clients and partners named on the company's website include Network Rail, Siemens, Colas Rail UK, East Midlands Railway and Mott Macdonald. AIVR hosts over a petabyte of footage captured across the UK rail network.
The company was founded in 2017 and is based at Bristol Temple Meads station in Bristol, where its software, hardware and delivery teams work in a neighbouring lab and office. It has a team of over 80 people.
Product: AIVR (Automated Intelligent Video Review), a browser-based rail video review platform with AIVR Thermal and machine learning features.
