About NYMO
Nymo is an engineering, procurement, construction and installation company. It designs and fabricates topside modules, subsea modules, plug and abandonment units, process modules and gas turbine accessories, and also provides engineering services such as studies, FEED, detailed design and project execution.
Its main customers are in the oil and gas industry, where it has delivered EPCI projects for decades. The company is also diversifying into offshore wind, hydrogen storage and fish farming. In December 2025 it agreed with Fishglobe Technologies to industrialise production of closed fish farming systems.
Nymo was founded in 1946 as A/S Nymo Fabrikker in Grimstad and became part of the JJ Ugland Companies in 1956. Its headquarters and main fabrication yard are in Vikkilen, Grimstad, with additional fabrication facilities in Arendal. The company holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 certifications. In May 2026 it joined HydePoint as a shareholder and industrial partner.
