About NPHarvest

NPHarvest builds a physicochemical process that recovers nitrogen as ammonia salt and phosphorus as amorphous calcium phosphate from nutrient-rich wastewater, using hydrophobic membrane stripping and calcium precipitation. The process requires only pH adjustment and handles suspended solids up to 9%, and the company states nutrient recovery efficiency of up to 90%.

The company targets wastewater treatment operators, biogas plant operators, animal farms and other industrial wastewater producers, with the recovered products intended for fertilizer production.

NPHarvest Oy is registered in Espoo, Finland, and was founded in 2023. The company reports industrial-scale results at its demonstration site, was selected for the Business Finland Deep Tech Accelerator, is part of the EIT FAN 2025 cohort and plans to attend IFAT Munich 2026.
