About Nox Mobility
Nox Mobility plans and operates overnight train travel. Its first route runs Hamburg–Munich with stops in Bremen and Augsburg, with departures planned for March 2027. The main product, Nox Suites, gives each passenger a private area with a seat that converts into a 2-metre lounge, storage above and below the seat, and boarding about 15 minutes before departure.
Customers are travellers between European cities who want to travel overnight and keep their daytime. Passengers book Suites through the Nox website, and extra services such as breakfast, a shower or a day desk at arrival are bookable directly through Nox. The site also describes planned Nox Rooms (Single Loft, Double Loft and Double Vista) as coming soon.
Nox Mobility was founded by Janek Smalla, Thibault Constant and Artur Hasselbach; the site does not state a founding year. In April 2026 the company announced a €2 million pre-seed round, and in February 2026 Artur Hasselbach joined as CFO and co-founder. The stated long-term aim is to connect 100 European cities by 2035. The careers page lists an open application internship based in Berlin, Germany.
Product: Overnight train travel with private Nox Suites on routes between German cities, with planned Nox Rooms and add-on services.
