About Novatron Fusion Group
Novatron Fusion Group AB is developing the NOVATRON fusion reactor, a magnetic-confinement design based on an original concept by inventor Jan Jäderberg. The company plans a pilot reactor, NOVATRON 3, at a site it is preparing to build in the Nordic region during the 2030s.
The company is pre-commercial and aims to scale the design to full-size fusion power plants. It is the only fusion venture in the Nordics, according to its website, and lists partners including KTH, St1, UKAEA and Oxford Sigma.
The company was founded in Sweden in 2019. Its lab and development facilities are at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. It has about 65 employees from 11 nationalities and is hiring a Senior Plasma Experimentalist in Stockholm on a hybrid basis.
