Norsk Test

Norsk Test AS develops and operates Yerbu, a competence platform that covers curriculum planning, a question bank, test delivery, results analysis and digital certificates. Candidates can take tests at testing centres, at their workplace, or from home through Yerbu Live, which uses webcam and screen-sharing supervision with ID checks. The product range also includes a candidate portal, a register of results and certificates, a booking calendar, a payment module, e-learning, digital certificates (siQR) and an API.

Customers are public authorities and industry bodies in Norway. Named clients include the Norwegian Maritime Authority (Sjøfartsdirektoratet), for which it develops and runs the boat licence test and register, FinAut, which authorises financial advisers, the Norwegian Football Federation for referee testing, and the Norwegian Police for a border-surveillance test. Products are offered to organisations of different sizes, and custom solutions are built on top of Yerbu.

The company was established in summer 2001 and is headquartered in Kirkenes, where its registered address is. It operates a network of testing centres across Norway, described as stretching from Lindesnes to Kirkenes. Its earlier Oslo office was closed and all activity moved to Kirkenes.
