About Norpower
Norpower Ltd constructs, reconfigures and refurbishes low-voltage and high-voltage overhead power lines on steel towers and wood poles. Its services include installing temporary masts and towers to keep supply running during refurbishment works and responding to emergency repairs. The company uses its own fleet of specialist machinery and equipment.
The company was acquired by VINCI Energies in August 2023 and is part of its group. In May 2026 Norpower rebranded to Omexom.
Norpower was formed in October 2003 and began site operations in 2004 with 10 employees. It is based in Muir of Ord in the Scottish Highlands and currently employs around 30 site, office and maintenance staff.
