About Nordic Bioproducts Group

Nordic Bioproducts Group develops and produces microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), cellulose derivatives and other bio-based materials using its patented AaltoCell technology. Its portfolio includes the PURA Series MCC products and solutions for applications including pharmaceuticals, supplements, cosmetics, food, textiles and biocomposites.

The company sells ingredients and materials to manufacturers and also undertakes research, development and licensing activities with industrial and scientific partners. It operates an MCC production facility in Lappeenranta and its Bio Innovation Garage in Otaniemi, Espoo.
