About Nimesis Technology

Nimesis Technology designs and manufactures actuators and mechanisms for the space sector, based on shape memory alloys (AMF). Its catalogue includes Triggy, Gripper, Satlatch, Hector, Murphy, Harper, Lara, Stepper and Jack, used for deployment, locking and unlocking, release and separation on satellites, rovers and launchers. Each product is listed with a technology readiness level from TRL 3 to TRL 9.

The company also offers in-house test and manufacturing services, including a thermal vacuum chamber, geometric control, an ISO 5 clean room, calorimetry, micro-welding, mechanical testing and continuous casting of alloys. Its customers include space-sector clients, competitiveness clusters and institutional partners; revenue comes from selling actuators and services. Triggy has been deployed in orbit on an antenna built by Oxford Space Systems.

Nimesis was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Mecleuves, France. The company reports a team of 17 and says it has developed actuators for more than 15 years. It holds a CNES SME label for its Triggy technology, renewed for three years, and has launched a participatory fundraising campaign.
