New Software

New Software publishes Arlequin, a digital management solution for funeral businesses. It covers sales management (quotes, orders, invoicing and payment reminders), funeral organisation and logistics, cemetery plot and grave maintenance, funeral insurance contracts, and electronic document management. Modules for funeral homes and crematoriums include admissions, ceremony room booking and the cremation register.

The software includes integrated accounting: suppliers, bank reconciliation, cash control, fixed assets, stock, inter-company transfers and preparation of VAT returns. Its customers are funeral operators. The company sells Arlequin as a software solution and offers demonstrations on request through its website.

New Software was founded in 1994 and is based in Paris. It states that it has worked in the funeral sector since 1995. The company says it has an independent cybersecurity provider supporting its security work, runs regular intrusion tests and applies a DevSecOps approach. It is currently recruiting product owners, front-end, back-end and full-stack developers, UX/UI designers and delivery managers.
