About Nesst

NESsT invests donations and patient capital into social enterprises that create dignified jobs for underserved communities. It pairs financing with tailored business development support and commits to each enterprise for two to five years. Its Lirio Fund, which NESsT manages, has surpassed $20 million USD in disbursements through 37 loans in Brazil, Colombia and Peru.

The investees are locally based social enterprises in Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe, including portfolio companies in Poland and Romania. The organisation works with partners such as IKEA Social Entrepreneurship, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), The Ashmore Foundation and MetLife Foundation.

NESsT was founded in 1997 and describes its work as creating impact since then. Its management and staff are based in several countries, including Peru, Brazil, Colombia, Romania, Poland, Chile and Ecuador. Current openings include a Portfolio Manager for Romania, a Loan Officer for Lirio Fund Andes in Lima, an Accounting and Finance Associate for Brazil, and consultancy assignments in Peru.
