NEBESYS

NEBESYS develops the NEBESYS™ slanted roof system, which uses transparent or translucent roof coverings that look like ordinary tiles from outside while admitting diffused daylight into the space below. The system includes a glass structural layer with triple-glazed panels on aluminium profiles, PUR thermal insulation, and options for shading, ventilation and recuperation, as well as hiding roof-mounted technology units.

The website presents the system for building under-roof spaces in attics and in urban conservation zones, and for roof terraces hidden from view. The company sells through sales representatives who visit a property to assess whether the system suits the structure, and describes a multi-step implementation process. Its revenue model is not described in detail on the pages reviewed.

The system is said to have been tested in practice since 2011, and the company is registered in the Czech Republic as Nebesys a.s., with the registry showing its seat in Ostravice. The team page names Přemysl Kokeš as the system's inventor and Pavel Janyška as executive director. The site does not list offices beyond the registered seat or describe current hiring.
