NATS provides air traffic control services in the UK. It manages all upper airspace in the UK's London, Scottish and Shanwick Oceanic flight information regions and runs air traffic services at UK airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and London City, the latter through a digital tower.

Outside the UK, the company offers air traffic services to airports, airlines, air traffic service providers and governments in parts of Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Its UK operations are split across two air traffic control centres, at Swanwick in Hampshire and Prestwick in Ayrshire.

Its head office is at Whiteley, Hampshire, with offices in central London and in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions, including Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore.
