About Naficon
Naficon manufactures fiber optic passive products for telecom and telephone networks. Its range includes pigtail and patch fibres, multi-fibre cables with factory-fitted connectors for indoor and outdoor use, and prefabricated panels for different patch panel and termination enclosure mechanisms. It also stocks passive accessories such as adapters, splice protectors, attenuators, splitters and CWDM products.
Customers include telecom operators, installation companies, wholesalers, equipment manufacturers and data centre equipment makers in Finland and abroad, as well as public authorities. Product design is carried out together with customers. The company sells its products to these business customers.
Naficon was founded in 1994 and is based in Nauvo in the Turku archipelago, Finland. In July 2015 it set up a subsidiary, NFOM (Naficon Fiber Optic Manufacturing) LLC, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which began production in February 2016 and obtained ISO 9001 certification in April 2017.
