About mytutor.co.uk

MyTutor provides online one-to-one tuition for pupils, with lessons tailored to each student and scheduled around family routines. Tutors are personally interviewed and set their own prices based on experience, with listed rates starting at £25 per hour for emerging tutors and rising to £65+ for experienced ones.

Families pay per lesson on a pay-as-you-go basis, with no sign-up fees or subscriptions. Prospective families can book a free 15-minute meeting with a tutor before paying for the first lesson. The website states that the service is used by 1500+ schools.

The company was founded to make tuition accessible to all families. Its founders are Robert Grabiner, Bertie Hubbard and James Grant. The website says the company has given over a quarter of a million lessons. It lists open roles and a team organised across the board, leadership, product, technology, finance, schools, operations and tutor community.

Product: Online one-to-one tutoring lessons booked with independently rated tutors, paid per lesson.
