About Microvention Europe

Microvention Europe is based in France and belongs to the neuroendovascular group now known as Terumo Neuro. The group develops catheter-based, minimally invasive devices for treating vascular diseases of the brain, including aneurysm coils, flow diverters such as FRED, the WEB embolization system, aspiration catheters and stentrievers for ischemic stroke, carotid stents, and access products such as catheters and guidewires.

Its customers are neurosurgeons, neurovascular surgeons and other healthcare providers. The group was founded in 1997 in Southern California as MicroVention, was acquired by Japan-based Terumo Corporation in 2006, and has launched over 30 products.

Microvention Europe was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France. The group's headquarters is in Aliso Viejo, California. In September 2026 Terumo Neuro signed an agreement to acquire Arsenal Medical. Open positions are listed in Aliso Viejo, Alajuela (Costa Rica) and France, including finance, assembly, warehouse and clinical roles.
