About Mercadona Tech
Mercadona Tech builds the e-commerce platform and internal tools that run Mercadona's online grocery sales and its specialised online-order warehouses ("Colmenas"). Its work covers the online store, delivery route optimisation, purchasing automation and warehouse robotisation, built in-house by its own teams.
Its customers are Mercadona's online shoppers and its logistics operations; the company is part of the Mercadona supermarket chain and serves that chain rather than external clients. Mercadona Online was started in 2016.
The company operates Tech Hubs in Valencia and Madrid, and has an operations hub ("Colmena") in Valencia. Its job openings include Product Maker and Site Reliability Engineer roles, with hybrid working.
Product: In-house e-commerce platform, logistics and warehouse tools for Mercadona's online grocery channel.
