About Medicubex
MedicubeX develops the eHealth Station, an autonomous self-service health check kiosk that takes non-invasive measurements of vital signs, including blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, body temperature and body composition. It screens for cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes risk and enables immediate remote consultations with doctors. The device is described as an MDR Article 22 medical system, and measurement results can be transferred to EHR systems via HL7 FHIR.
The eHealth Station is sold to healthcare providers, including hospitals, primary care, occupational health and retail and pharmacy settings. Named partners include University Hospital Frankfurt, Terveystalo and Istekki, and the company reports use in multiple wellbeing services counties in Finland. MedicubeX takes responsibility for operation and maintenance of the stations.
MedicubeX was founded in 2020 and is headquartered in Helsinki. The company states active operations across Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Germany and the UK, and the first Swedish eHealth Station was inaugurated at the University of Skövde through a partner.
