About Meana
Meana s. r. o. runs a mediation center in Slovakia, registered under the Slovak Mediation Act (No. 420/2004). The center arranges mediation, keeps a list of qualified mediators, and carries out public education on mediation. Each case is assigned to a mediator chosen at random and independently.
The center is authorised to resolve all types of consumer disputes between consumers and suppliers, for example disputes over financial services or e-shop purchases. Mediation can be conducted and filings made in Slovak or Hungarian. A consumer dispute mediation ends no later than 90 days after it begins.
