About mathegym.de
Mathegym operates an online learning platform for practising school mathematics, with exercises, worked solutions, explainer videos and step-by-step hints across 335 topics. It also covers Latin, English, French, German, DaZ, physics, chemistry and informatics for grades 5 to 13. Exercises can be solved in the browser without registration.
Pupils and parents buy an annual licence for 65 € with no subscription. Schools can obtain a school licence that lets pupils and teachers use the platform free of charge, including at home; teachers use the content for lesson preparation and in class. The platform is stated to be used at 572 schools.
Mathegym was founded in 2007. Its team includes practising teachers and an IT entrepreneur who supports the platform's technical and strategic development. The platform has received the Comenius EduMedia Medal in 2026, 2023 and earlier, and was named overall winner for math learning portals in the Deutscher Bildungs-Award 2025/2026.
