About Material Bank
Material Bank operates an online platform for searching and ordering design and architectural product samples. It lists more than 45,000 materials from over 450 brands, and samples placed by 18:30 CET arrive the next morning in a single carbon-neutral box. Users can save materials to boards, communicate with brand representatives and filter by environmental product declarations (EPDs) and CDPH compliance.
Architects and interior designers use the platform free of charge. Manufacturers join as brand partners to reach its design audience, with services that include leads on demand, sample logistics and sample reclamation.
The company is based in Paris, France, and is registered there as Design Future SAS, trading as Material Bank Europe. The site is available in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian. It reports a community of over 120,000 designers and architects and lists 17 open roles across marketing, product engineering, applied AI, sales, analytics, legal and operations, mostly remote, with some based in Boston, London and the southern United States.
Product: Online search and sampling platform for architectural and design materials, with a single consolidated sample box shipped to designers.
